Yes, this is the stereotype of what being an exchange student looks like and everyone thinks that's really what I've been doing all the time here. And while I have to admit that during this semester I had a lot less work than usually, this is not because I took the easiest classes here or did not want to study - it is because I did not have a job (which I do at home, but am legally not allowed to here), I had a limited amount of credits I could take (meaning less classes than I usually attend) and I knew less people that want to hang out with me (at the beginning at least, now I got my crew here, haha). But that's not the point now, the truth is that I wanted to show everyone that my life here in Arizona is just as normal as it would be at home, which is why I took my GoPro out for a day and filmed everything I did (well, almost) - and while it might not be the most interesting video you've ever seen, it does show that being on exchange is not much different from being home. So have fun watching this!See? No big deal. I wake up just like you, except the fact that I use EarlyVid for inspiration in the morning, then I make myself a good breakfast and spend the rest of the morning cleaning and studying. My classes here usually start at 3 p.m. and before that I ALWAYS need my cup of DutchBros Coffee. For those who don't know it, it's a West Coast thing - and the worst competitor for Starbucks ever. I used to be a Starbucks Gold Member until I moved here and now I can't have a day without my DutchBros. |
